We are a small group of local people who are interested in the history of Brandon. Most of us live in or close to Brandon but we have some members who travel from as far away as Attleborough and Dereham. Most of our members pay an Annual Subscription and attend our monthly meetings at a discounted rate. We have others who attend less frequently during the year, and come along as a guest to hear a presentation that they are particularly interested in. Some of our longstanding members have accumulated a wealth of historical information about the area and spend a lot of time researching new topics and preparing talks which are presented to our group and other groups in the district.
We are very keen to see some new faces at our meetings, and it is easy for you to come along one month, listen to a presentation, chat with the members and ask us any questions. We would love it if you chose to attend regularly. We do plan on organising some events during the year such as group visits to historical sites and we often attend presentations given by other local history societies. Notifications of upcoming meetings & events are published here and we also have a Facebook page that you can access by clicking here

This is where we meet on the second Tuesday of each month – the Town Hall in Market Square Brandon. 7.30pm until 9.30pm
